Bery's generation did not have that moral fortitude. Why would you expect them to have raised their children to have it?

All I have is my hope.

Which is why so many of my generation know we're gonna get the shaft eventually. But hey, the next generations will get to benefit from our sacrifice without needing to sacrifice themselves, so..... *shrug*

It's ok, because it is members of your generation who are legislating all the stuff we happen to agree on into law, so we get the shaft as well. In addition, my generation will also have the ever so enjoyable experience of living and raising our children in the economic and moral sess pool they created. You atleast have the projected benefit of being dead sooner. ;)

See there's enough **** to go around.

I disagree Rynar. I'm meeting more and more people in their 70s and 80s who have outlived their children. One couple I know is raising their great granddaughter, because their kids are gone and their grandchildren are unfit to raise their own kids.

Just because you're older doesn't mean you're going to die first.

DE, I believe Xeq's stance would most likely be that the voter would simply choose it out of ignorance.

I don't think that the average voter is quite as uninformed, ignorant, or stupid as Xeq might think, or indeed as is commonly asserted here. This is not to say that there are not undesirable amounts of ignorance and stupidity out there, but rather that those that represent the truely uninformed are also those that make up the large block of people who don't vote despite being allowed to.

I was making a joke, Micheal.
