This is getting ridiculous. Every thread started is basically a bleached and dried rehash of the same bullshit over and over: someone posting a slightly hyperbolic or context specific argument against public option, single-payer or whathaveyou and then the proponents for such a system dismissing outright any and all arguments originating from what is allegedly the same "side" irrespective of the individual merits.

Can we do this some more please? If this thread is not prudent with the new posting guidelines, fine, lock it, but these discussions are amounting to the same bloodshed over and over, just in neighboring battlefields.

Without a seriose adjustment to our legal system/malpractice/lawsuit any change to healthcare will be undone. What the solution is, I don't know. But allowing it as is, will only drive up costs.

I'm not necessarily demanding it become consolidated, this was merely to make people aware that every topic broached seems to migrate toward this discussion, and the quality and specifics of the discussion are not changing.

I didn't necessarily mean to invoke any moderator intervention; they don't make the boards unpleasant, just somewhat unnavigable.
