This almost makes me sad. We need a country to challenge Great Britain independantly every once in a while, so they can lay the smack down and remind the world America isn't the only badass in the playground.

England does, however, need backing in that we ought to be backing them against attempts to use legalisms as a weapon against them politically.

Mainly because people use legalistic bullshit all the time to attack the U.S. This sort of "get all our ethnicly similar buddies together and complain about the Big Bad White Man" theme is not something we should tolerate.
