An ad by Alan Grayson about his challenger:

For the youtube impaired he calls him "Taliban Dan Webster" and has a montage of Afghan taliban fighters and women in burkahs with his name written in some crazy arabic-ish font. In the clip Webster says "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands." and "She should submit to me. That’s in the Bible". Then they have him repeating "submit to me" as they chronicle what they claim his positions are on rape and abortion and such.

Here is the context:

The text is here:

Quote:
So, write a journal. Second, find a verse. I have verses for my wife. Don’t pick the ones that say, uh, “She should submit to me.” That’s in the Bible, but pick the ones that you’re supposed to do. So instead, “Love your wife even as Christ loved the church,” and so on, instead of “Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands.” She can pray that if she wants to, but don’t you pray it.

Grayson also falsely accused his opponent of being a draft dodger and not loving his country.

Consequence of the two party system. If the other guy loses, you automatically win. if the other guy is wrong, that makes you right.

It's really not the two-party system. You may not be old enough to remember the 1988 election. There were 6 contenders for the Democrat nomination. There were still plenty of negative adds. I specifically rememebr one by Paul Simon suggesting Dick Gephardt was shifty.
