n the latest example of zero-tolerance anti-gun policy run amok, a 13-year-old seventh grade boy in Vernon, New Jersey has been suspended from school after being accused of “twirling his pencil like a gun.”

Ethan Chaplin, student at Glen Meadow Middle School, was twirling his pencil in math class when a rival student who reportedly had been bullying him earlier yelled, “He’s making gun motions, send him to juvie!”

Apparently that was all Ethan’s teacher needed to immediately send him to the principal’s office where he was suspended and told he would not be able to return to school until passing a “physical and psychological evaluation.”

“I was shocked because I’m like, how am I not going back to school? I didn’t even do anything,” Ethan told News 12, saying that despite telling school administrators his classmate had been bullying him and was simply attempting to get him into trouble, his comments were ignored.

When questioned, Vernon Schools Superintendent Charles Maranzano stood by the principal’s decision, making a shocking insinuation that Ethan could be plotting to violently attack the school.

It's appropriate that anti bullying campaigns are trumped by anti gun bullying.

It's a hallmark of bullies to use the rules that are supposed to protect people to further their bullying. Bullies are incredibly adept at painting themselves as victims. Feminists have it down to a science.

I was going to post something similar when I got back to my desk...

Apparently our Zero Tolerance for guns trumps our Zero Tolerance for bullying.

I suppose that makes our tolerance for bullying Fractional Tolerance, instead.

How do you even twirl a pencil like a gun?

Well when you live in ultra liberal gun fear land, I suppose it involves the onlooker thinking of a gun and getting scared you might be a Republican.

It's a flourish fancy artists use when re-holstering their pencils after somebody challenges them to draw in a duel.

I heard you can do it with a little tin cup, too.

In all seriousness, that school is about to suffer a total breakdown of order. Every kid has just essentially been told the rules are a weapon to use against anyone they don't like.
