Sort of. More complicated than that. But, I could officially cash out and pay off all debts, including my mortgage (that's really my only substantial debt). I wouldn't have much left. I'm not going to do this, of course, as my 4% loan isn't currently bothering me much. It will be paid off in... 25 years. Anyway, it's kind of nice to be in the black! Granted, it's safe to assume I would be able to sell my house for at least some positive value, so it's not really a wash. Anyway, hell fire because... yeah. |

Yeah, i've got 13 years left on my mortgage, at 2.9%. That's so close to the inflation rate it's not worth trying to pay it off faster. |
