Obviously, nearly all domestic Muslims are not terrorists. But even if 1 in 100,000 act like terrorists, statistically that's a very big problem. For example, if just 1 in 100 Muslims identifies with terrorists, and then just 1 in 100 of that sub group decides to actually start killing people, then bam you get a domestic terrorist. Also it appears there were two suspects. I haven't read up on all the details, but seems along the lines of a coordinated Paris/Mumbai style attack, although on a smaller scale. Reminds me also of the Boston marathon bombers. |

Is it a bad thing that I'm jaded enough about these shootings that when I hear about one my first instinct is to search for the hilariously inept first line news coverage so I can laugh at it?
