I don't understand the controversy here?

In Islamic theology, the Shaytan and his minions are "whisperers", who whisper into the hearts of men and women, urging them to commit sin. This is where the desire to sin comes from, according to Islam.

The Qur'an provides a supplication for mankind, aimed at fighting the tempting of ash-Shaytan and his minions:

In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
The King of mankind,
The God of mankind,
From the evil of the sneaking whisperer (Shaytan),
Who whispereth in the hearts of mankind,
Of the jinn and of mankind. [Qur'an 114:1-6]

The word is controversy personified. The Wikipedia article does well enough.

I was surprised that the description given in the article matched my
"Christian?" interpretation so closely.

The sound of silence seems to show that your post hasn't made much of an impression on anyone. Perhaps if you posted some actual thoughts on the subject instead of just a thread title and a linked obscure anime pic, people might have had just some glimmer of an inkling of whatever the frack you were talking about.

Quite possibly one of my favorite artists, his skill is in painting is mindblowing.
The colors, mood, and content of his works are always surprising. He creates very few prints of his work, and when he does they always sell quickly. The print is limited to 88, and comes with a C.O.A., an invitation and a special folder for holding the print. While there is other work of his I would love to get prints of, you can’t be too picky when there are so few prints at all of his.
