As inflammatory a title as I could get :)

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 95_pf.html

Essentially a all white sorority won the step competition, poo is flung until the sponsor finds an accounting error enough to have two winners! :)

/grammar nazi on

It's "whitey" btw.

/grammar nazi off

Really sad. Coke is trying to smooth things over by making an excuse and ponying up another $100k. But speaks poorly for the event coordination and larger step dancing community.

I'm just curious how you two survived finding out what carbonated battery acid tastes like.

Oh, and Diet Coke has way too much fizz, not enough taste. Diet Pepsi is my poison of choice.

There is only one surefire way to check a battery to see if it is still good.

You mean, other than putting it in something that runs on batteries and seeing if it works?

Diet Pepsi is far better than diet coke, but regular Coke is much better than Pepsi (although I don't really like either anymore since I stopped drinking non-diet soda for the most part).

Coke Zero is pretty decent.

You know, if someone had posted a thread about Coke vs. Pepsi, we would have ended up talking about racism.

No, that would have been if it was Sprite vs. Pepsi.

Or Mtn. Dew. vs 7up.

Coke v. Pepsi would have ended up in a gang violence discussion or something.

I prefer Coke Zero, or Diet Caffeine Free Coke. Diet Pepsi, well, tastes like Pepsi. I avoid Diet Coke because they jack up the caffeine levels in it (that's the main difference between it and Coke Zero, AFAICT).

I wouldn't drink any of it if I wasn't hopelessly addicted to caffeine. :)

I am thinking that the Coca-Cola company is doing nothing wrong here. The problem is that the stepping community doesn't like the fact that they lost to a bunch of white people.

Why? Because they are Poor losers and likely a bunch of racist pricks too. If the Zeta routine was better.. they deserved to win. End of story. According to the article everyone liked their routinge until they won the show.

The company does any company would do in a PR situation... pay money to quiet it.

It's the people who are being racist, and in this case the majority black audience.

I would like to know one thing though..

were the judges predominantly white or black or mixed?

If the judges were predominantly white.. I can see where all of the opportunistic cock jockeys would be all over it. But if the judges were all black, then the people ***** really need a nice tall glass of shut the **** up.

Although I dont think it matters, those opportunistic cock jockeys lack logic to start with and certainly would not let facts get in their way... Plus you're advocating that racism could only be applied by a person of a different race.

I stand by the quote "the world's best golfer is black and the world's best rapper is white"... welcome to the future people >.<
