Because we have really, truly good white people in important positions. And the fact of the matter is that there are a limited number of those positions. And unless we are conscious of the need to have more people of color, gays, other people in those positions we will not change the problem. I'm also curious as to how changing the numebr of white people changes the number of gays.

If the right is going to be thrown under the bus by the libs and the media because fringe extreme groups attach themselves to legitimate organizations, then the Pres needs to be taking some serious heat for all these whack jobs he is surrounding himself with.
