Did anyone catch him while he was pushing his new film? He states capitalism is evil because it isn't democratic - because the people don't have a say in how the money is spent.

Yes they do, they just don't have a say in how other people's money is spent.

There was a review on his new movie this morning on NPR. Apparently he marks off Wall Street with crime tape and drives an armored truck up to one of the banks (I forget which) and demands the bailout money back or some similar nonsense.

I hope he actually does manage to make a citizen's arrest of one of these bigwhigs so they can bus him for kidnapping or false arrest when he can't show probable cause.

I miss the days when he was going his TV show. His revenge night episode when he:

- parked a flatbed semi-trailer full of speakers blaring Muzac in front of the Muzac founders house
- Parked 21 cars with car alarms and set them off off in front of the inventor of the car alarm

was inspired.

My money says the pudgy-stick **** will just have a heart attack or two to finish him off before too long.

I found these un-funny. Awesome to annoy folks invented the item, instead of the people who are using it in an annoying manner. Way to pick the low hanging fruit, but thats why he's a (to use Al's term) a big fat idiot.

Moore visits cuba and meets with Castro. Fred Thompson criticizes Moore, and Moore chalanges Thompson to a debate. Thompson's response:

Good stuff. :)

edit: Hmm we still can't embed Youtube?

I'll perhaps grant you the car alarm guy, but the founder of Muzac needs to be drawn and quartered and then **** shot.

Thompson says he doesn't have time for him, and talks about a disenter in Cuba that Castro sent to a mental instituation where he was regularly subjected to electric shock treatment. His closing comment is "Mental Institutions, that's something you might want to look into..."

I dont think even Moore buys the **** he's selling. He's a populist, and thrives on the controversy.

Is he really making a for profit movie decrying capitalism? Does he truly wish we would do away with capitalism? I doubt it. But this angle gives him a good opportunity to go do some stunts on film and ride the populist resentment for the wall street bailouts

Like all of his films, I'll watch it and make my own call. The guy is too much of a lightning rod to accomplish what he hopes to accomplish, and in the controversy the value of what he does is often lost.

His TV show was fantastic. The Corporate Crime chicken episode was hilarious. Disney jail ftw.
