Heh, I was just about to make this exact thread... :p

I get really confused by these summits.

I understand a lot of violent riot-type happenings. I can see the (il)logic behind Rodney King and the occasional protest gone awry. But hear that there's a big economic summit happening soon and you may as well gear for war, cause you know there is no need for heat of the moment outrage or people getting swept up by the emotion of a protest you feel strongly about or whatever excuse they use. It's enough to simply know that there will be damages.

I like to imagine there is some organized group of people, perhaps with an all-capitals acronym like COBRA or SPECTRE, who exist solely to go to these summits and burn some cars and damage buildings. It simply seems that reliable and that emotionless.

It's the only way I can make sense out of it, at any rate.

Start doing the conferences as video conference, and hold a live one which is nothing bug a trap for the rioters
