I was originally thinking of posting this under the thread that accuses liberal groups of trying to smear conservative groups through deceit, but the more I thought about this... it deserves its own thread for ridicule.

In summary, Democrats try to undermine the "conservative" candidate by starting a "conservative PAC like organization, funded by the Democratic Governors Association, that tries to link the Republican candidate to Pelosi and Obama, in an effort to increase support for the (D) candidate.

There may or may not be some merit to the links in terms of actual political viewpoints, and perhaps this (D) Governor is in fact a fiscal hawk, but the humor is just too much fun.

You know, if we didn't perpetuate a two-party system, lame politicians couldn't win by making the other guy look even lamer. Just throwing that out there.

It isn't the people who perpetuate that system, Kaffis.

I didn't mean to imply it was.

You don't think this is the first time this has happened do you?

Yay, I agree with Kaffis. You'd pretty much have to change our entire legislative structure to make it happen though. Representative parliament for the win.

Not to be too mean or anything, but you do understand that nothing you support in the way of legislative reform would ever pass muster in an American Parliament?
