What accent would you listen to someone read the Obamacare bill cover-to-cover just to hear?

British and Irish, while different, have the same general "sound" to me, and are equally pleasing.

The English accent ("British" is a misnomer applied to accents. Scottish, Northern Irish, and Welsh are also "British") is vastly different from neighborhood to neighborhood even in the city of London. I don't think Cockney sounds anything like the Queen's English, let alone Irish.

The conglomeration that is "British" FTW. "Irish" is second.

"Southern" isn't an accent around here; it's the default setting.

For the girls, something about a french accent really gets me going.

The most pleasing accent I've ever encountered was a very odd mix.

The woman was Gyanan, but was raised in London and moved to NYC when she was 18. So she had this wonderful mix of an English accent with heavy hints of the Carribean and New York.

Totally hot.
