Our nation is over $14 Trillion in debt, and they decide this must be addressed? Letter to the Attorney General That's like half the Senate that just needs to go (if only for this). |

I don't get it...what's wrong with addressing the porn thing? Aren't various agendas constantly flowing through there? |

And some of you laughed at me when I said porn is only de facto legal in the US. It's illegal, always has been, just not enforced. |

This has already been addressed in progressive countries such as Saudi Arabia and Iran. |

It's like a who's who of big government RINOs. No surprise there. Yeah I think the people would be better off with all those folks gone from office. |

Well lets say they do go after it (I don't agree that all porn is bad personally) who is going to do the investigations ad prosecutions. The FBI and other law enforcement agencies only have so many resources. If they expend effort towards this then they have to take away resources from other areas. I think most people would agree stopping potential terrorist, gun smuggling and a whole host of other illegal activities are a higher priority than people bumping uglies on film. So ae they going to hire more people when we already are in debt? I would agree that going after child porn is a good thing though. |

Very disappointed that Amy Klobuchar signed that. |

It's a low-rent bill. You can pander to either religious fundamentalists or socialist feminists, and very few people are willing to defend porn so you don't lose any votes by alienating the rest of your voter base. |

I mean what the hell exactly is "hardcore porn" to them? It used to be that was anything that actually showed penetration. That's covers a huge amount of material, the vast majority of which is not bad at all. |

What is hardcore pornography? Who gets to decide how to define it? That's a good question, and one that has been wrestled with before. |

Huh. I had never seen that clip of John Denver before. My esteem for him just went up a lot. |

Frank Zappa gets most of the recognition for that debacle. People tend to forget that John Denver and Dee Snider also testified. |
