If the house was still Democrat I'd agree with this article. Being the start of election season I doubt we will see any new bailouts. As long as the Democrats do not regain control of the house after the elections, I doubt the USPS will get anything greater than a funding bandaid. |

IIRC, the USPS operates at a loss most or all the time anyway. I don't know why you wouldn't think they'd bail it out thought. There are a lot of potential lost votes there. |

The US Postal Service won't be "bailed out", it will "continue to be funded". This is one both the unions and big business can agree on. |

20 years ago, I'd say the USPS was critical to our economy. If it went away, it would impact business heavily, but I'm not sure I can call them critical anymore. |
