“We don’t have a precise read on why this slower pace of growth is persisting,” the central banker said yesterday. “Maybe some of the headwinds that have been concerning us, like the weakness in the financial sector, problems in the housing sector ... (are) stronger and more persistent than we thought." Makes me sleep better at night knowing that the "experts" really don't know Mr. Jack Schidt. Keeps me up at night, though, guessing that they really do know Jack Schidt but would rather not say. |

Of course they know. Mr. Bernanke has the very sizable majority of his own assets invested in annuities. |
