http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/cri ... y_id=91446 Ok, I need to look up airlines with dress codes before I fly. Sure people would love to have their kids fly next to Frankenfurter. |

Base question: would a woman have been ejected if wearing the same thing? If that's the case, then yes, he should have been ejected. If not, what the **** business is it of anyone else? The photo show in the article doesn't appear to be any more scantily-clad than many women I've seen, to be honest. And while there's a definite ick factor, "being uncomfortable around other passengers" is certainly not a Pandora's box that airlines want to open, methinks, given their hideously compact design and close proximity to other people that, more often than not, produce some degree of offense, be it a smell, chatter, screaming children, or general assholishness. |

I think it has more to do with the fact that another passenger was told to pull up his pants to cover his boxers, but this guy wasn't asked to cover up at all. However, I'm pretty sure the other guy didn't get kicked off the plane and arrested because he wouldn't pull up his pants. I'm pretty sure he did something else to get kicked off...but at the same time, he might not have gotten to that stage if they just left him alone like they did with the guy in women's underwear. |
