So, wait. Let me get this straight.

Biden says "Pay these people to do these jobs!"
Congress (and a big chunk of the American public) replies, "But we don't need those jobs done, and we can't afford to pay people to do nothing."
Biden comes back with, "Pay these people this money for jobs you don't need, or else there will be murders and rape and theft!"

This sounds a lot like the mob, guys.

My immediate mental response to that picture was, no joke, "Heh, Biden'd have to...I dunno, shoot someone or somethin' before I'd think having that guy would be a good idea," and then realized even that wouldn't do it; it would just put them on a level playing field.
