http://cnsnews.com/news/article/feds-ai ... al-support Part of me honestly wants to just say, if a pig is your means of emotional support, then I would just be more depressed. |

Please tell me they have to at least buy an extra ticket for their "emotional support". |

This is obviously a tactic to counter surgically implanted bombs in Muslim terrorists. |

This little piggy went to Albuquerque. This little piggy stayed home. This little piggy had the in flight meal. This little piggy had none. And this little piggy went AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA as his plane augured into a cornfield in Kansas. |

TheRiov wrote: is there such a thing as pig allergies? Yes there are. People who are allergic to dogs & cats are not allergic to the hair, but rather, as I understand it, allergic to the skin flakes and saliva of the animals. Pigs shed a lot of skin flakes. So what if someone brings their pig on board and several people have terrible allergies? |

Then it gets handled just like somebody bringing a dog or a cat on board? |

How is it handled when a dog or cat is brought on board and people have severe allergies? |

Not working for an airline, nor having witnessed the situation personally, I can only guess. However, I would suspect that seat shuffling is the first attempt, taking the person with the animal to the rear, and then moving anyone with an allergy far enough away that the airplane airhandling environmentals can effectively scrub the allergens, or bumping the allergic to a later flight, perhaps with some sort of upgrade or other compensation. |

Is this in the cabin or in a cage like dogs? Generally I though that cats and dogs were kept in a carrier and put elsewhere in the plane. I've never been on a flight and seen a pet or service animal in the cabin. It does seem like carriers can refuse the requests if the person doesn't have the proper varification. Im not a doctor and It's not on me to say rather pigs are theraputic to those with mental distresses and disorders. |

Actually, people allergic to dogs and cats often arent allergic to pigs. They're usually recommended as alternatives. I haven't actually heard of anyone allergic to pigs. |
