Quote: "Given his unique physical and medical condition there is a substantial risk that any attempt to execute him will result in serious physical and psychological pain to him, as well as an execution involving a torturous and lingering death," Post's attorneys argue in court papers. So **** what? He **** murdered a dude. He gave up any rights he had when he committed that act. |

I wonder if they can put him under and use a defibrillator to stop his heart...? |

Perhaps if they stopped feeding him so much he wouldn't be so fat. Last I checked the only nom's he would have access to are state-supplied. |

Might I suggest death by mortar? Works for North Korea. |

I find it hard to believe he has no accessible veins at all. How do fat people get treated in the hospital? |

Please, someone tell me how one gains 200 lbs while on death row? I understand that there is a lack of exercise, but just what in the hell are they feeding him, fried butter? |

Ship him to Utah. We still have executions by firing squad. No muss, no fuss. |

While it sounds gruesome, death by gunshot through the right region of the brain is essentially instantaneous. Frankly I find the ritual of lethal injection to be far more distasteful. |

We should do a surprise execution! No build up, no pageant, like a fatal episode of candid camera. Make it practice for the Sniper/special ops group. "We are just taking the convicted to the exercise yard for a walk, being he is so fat...*blam*...! |

Those aren't executions. They're combat operations. |

State declares that X should be killed and then carries out the killing in both cases. And thats the BEST a drone strike does. Executions are far more moral and ethical. |

Once again, Elmo demonstrates that his reasoning extends to identifying a trivial similarity between two things, claiming that makes them identical, and then making moral pronouncements. Those attacked by drones are not in custody; they're free to fight back with whatever means they have to hand. The means just happen to be inadequate. It is the height of silliness to claim they are executions because the fight is not sporting enough. |

They also haven't had due process, a jury of peers etc. Wonder what it should be called. |
