Don't forget to roll your clocks back.

Yeah, don't you have on of those nifty new fangled clocks controlled by Skynet that adjusts itself?

Amusingly, I do have two types of those clocks. Unfortunately, only one is set by "Skynet". The other is smart enough to be on a set rotation of dates under the old schedule. After the last change of DST start and stop dates there is a week on each end where I have to change the time zone I am in so that the clock is correct.

Thanks for the reminder Ulfynn.

I don't understand why we persist in calling it "Standard" time when we're only on it for, like, 4 months out of the year now.

All of my clocks self-adjust now. Unfortunately neither of my wrist watches do...

Those self adjusting clocks suck. Why? Because Arizona doesn't use Daylight Savings Time...so I have to fix the damn clocks I shouldn't need to adjust in the first place.

Since I live in Arizona, I'm no longer familiar with how daylight savings works anymore. When does it roll back to daylight savings?

Feb or March, now, I think.

It's amusing to me, by the way -- I lived in Indiana most of the year a decade ago, and the time changes were still relevant to me -- because the TV schedule shifted along with Eastern time. So we essentially swapped from Eastern to Central and back on the DST days. I guess with the advent of DVRs, even that anchor to daylight savings awareness has gone, too?

Sadly, Indiana has been corrupted and now is infected by the daylight savings infection. Only two states are standing now.
