Thank you for including the adoption option. That's me...but if you look at my freckles and pug nose and red hair and lack of eyebrows, there is a very good chance that I'm Irish.

Thinking of you when I put it in, LadyKate.

Edited to preserve Nitefox's sensibility . . . and the expense of a trip out here to kill me.

Oh comma's it's the difference between: "Helping your Uncle Jack, off a horse". to "Helping your uncle jack off a horse."

I've got a little bit of quite a few other things, but Irish is pretty much dominant with me, and my skin and hair show it.

I'm a Heinz 57, with Native American roots on my mother's side. Hubby is German/Irish through and through! :D

I would like to claim that I am a unhyphenated American, but does that grammatically require a hyphen?

Background wise, 50% Mic, 50% Kraut (Prussian), and from a long line of alcoholics, I don't drink a drop. I was the trusted employee at the Beer distributor I worked for when I was younger :)

I'm a mutt with the largest part I know about being Irish. My paternal grandfather is full-blooded Irish, so I'm at least 25% with the strong possibility that I have some from my mothers side, but I can't say for sure.

My mom's pretty sure she has some blood from every part of the British Isles through her maternal line, though it's all anecdotal as nobody's done digging to confirm. The only grandparent who wasn't a first generation American is my mutt quarter, who's surprised?

Something like 1/2 German, 1/4 English, and 1/4 eastern European mix.

May have a somewhat likely chance there's some Irish blood in the English part of me. For what it's worth, my beard grows in slightly red! But it's a pretty terrible beard anyway and beards are scratchy things so I don't get to represent it.

Hmm... I am naturally pale too, and not just cause I spend all my time on a computer... maybe there is something to this speculation. :p I should root around some time. There is a great library in Cleveland that has a crazy amount of info on geneologies that probably has everything I want to know...
