Oof. I'd have to go Mitt of those three I guess, and he wont win. The guys I like arent running this time around, Christie Rubio Ryan all seem solid to me but not ready yet. Are the libertarians running anyone good?

It is sad, of given those three options I dislike Palin the least. If Rommney would fess up that his healthcare bill was a mess and admit it was a mistake, then maybe.

Too early to say, but those names don't make me terribly optomistic on the Republican side.

70%. I think he's doing an ok job actually. I've changed my mind since my opinion a few months ago.

Yeah, I'd say it's really up to the Republicans. He's vulnerable, but I haven't seen any solid candidates on the Republican side.

I'd most like to see Mitt Romney as the Republican candidate. I'd be totally fine with him being President. Not sure if he's popular enough though.

I think the Republicans are sitting this one out because they don't want to win. If the economy starts to show real signs of improvement then we might see others step forward.

Thing is, if we were going to have healthcare reform, Romney went about it the right way and made it a states rights issue. The people of Massachusets wanted government in their healthcare, and they got it.
Thing is, they did it without dragging the rest of us down with them. All those conservatve governors speaking out against the federal reforms are simply making Romney's own argument. That reforms are the state's job. Not the federal. Whether those reforms work or not are not the issue.

This. If we can get a good candidate then I think Obama can be beaten. With those three headlining though, not so much. Need to talk Christie into running.

The people that were hoping for Obama to bring change past 2008 are going to be absent in the polls of 2012, citing everyone else as being right in the sense that "voting doesn't change anything."

I remain undecided about what I'll do.

Too early to tell. I'm more concerned about what's gonna happen to my congressional district and if we can replace a certain senator who needs replacing. For those reasons I will be going to polls in 2012. I won't be voting for Obama when I get there. I'm not sure I like any of my primary choices yet either.

The Democrats failed to deliver on all of their promises, but the Country continued on a path to which most everyone objects. The Republicans, elected this past November, have already compromised themselves and reneged on all the promises and positions that got them elected. We have been having the exact same arguments for 12 years. So, I have to ask ...

Why do any of you think anything is going to change? Why do any of you think your vote actually matters? And what are you going to do about the situation?

Romney can change things. He's a self-made billionare and has lots of political experience. He could improve the economy.

Ron Paul would be effective at preventing anyone from doing anything. But I doubt that would help things too much.

No, Romney cannot improve the economy; but, you guys keep not listening to me about what is wrong with the economy; so, it's not going to improve any time in the foreseeable future.

I doubt it, since the empirical evidence has Massachusetts suffering pretty hard from his fiscal irresponsibility as governor of that state.
