Is anyone else actually watching this?

The show is NOT that well reviewed, but last night was an A-Bomb on the TV series. Jumping the shark or hopping onto the track?

Adding Jane Balder (Diana from the original series as a 'different' Diana) was a nice touch.. and now we're getting Marc Singer as the head of Project Ares. Still the 10-episode long season is probably in its death throes especially given that...

Ryan is killed
Diana is killed
Tyler is killed
Kyle run off.
Lisa is imprisoned.
Humanity is under the Hybrid/Anna's bliss
Chad exposed and captured by Anna
Hundreds of motherships orbiting Earth

Its been a long time since i've seen a tv series go THAT far in making things look bad.

I recorded and watched the first 6-7 episodes and finally just deleted it from the DVR. It was just terrible and the acting was so awful....

I couldn't get in to it. Love the original, was a real "event" at my house when it came on. This one just didn't do it for me.

It was very Jordanesque in that nothing would happen for an entire episode that served to move the plot along.

I only watched the very first episode and thought it was godawful - the writing, the pacing, all of it. I suppose it could've improved as it progressed, but from what I'm reading, I guess not.

This. I kept turning it on, trying to enjoy it, and realizing that I just didn't care at all about any of the characters. It was just so... sterile.

I loved the original (miniseries, the series that followed was even worse than this one). This one sucks.

I watched the first four episodes or so and they took a long break. By the time it came back I had forgotten to care.
