Its also got some venting to reduce recoil and muzzle rise. The very end is the flash suppressor.

So those lateral slats in it are actually vents that are cuts that point to the read so when the expanding gas gets there the gas vents backwards helping to ease the recoil and damped muzzle jump. At the very end the pieces that seem to stick out more after the muzzle brake compose the flash suppressor.

Maybe but it is way more comfy and easier to control the weapon when the butt is locked to the side.

Configuration I was going with is Eotech on top laser underneath and light to the right.

Although I still consider what I could do with 2500. Buy a spare G19 and still have plenty of cash for around the home projects.

You won't get $2500 for the rifle. It's simply not worth that much in today's market.
