PC and PS3 since you can cross platform co-op with those two, well once PSN is back up anyways.

I'll add you when I get home to steam, I have no clue what my ID is on steam though, will have to check when I get home.

I finished the single player campaign last night. Steam clocks me in at just under 7 hours. I haven't tried the co-op campaign yet.

I am through 4/5ths of the co-op.

Just have the "Gels" portion left to do.

I would highly suggest to all who haven't done the coop yet to be sure to do it with someone who also has not yet done it so they do not spoil the solutions.

Greatly enjoyable standing there staring at everything in the room until one of you says "Wait, I have an idea."

It took me 12 hours for single player. I'm pretty slow.

Mildly spoiler-ish
Spoiler:
Though I have not yet finished the game, I discovered that the "Pneumatic Diversity Vents" had been left out of the final game despite being featured on the game site. Anyone know why this is or if they are potentially going to be added later as DLC?

I can't seem to find anything mentioning it

Spoiler:
http://half-life.wikia.com/wiki/Pneumatic_Diversity_Vent

The Pneumatic Diversity Vent is a testing element cut from Portal 2. It did not appear in the final release as a testing element, but rather as a behind-the-scenes method of transporting materials throughout the facility.

Spoiler:
It is also unknown why it was cut, as in videos and screenshots it looked complete.

Finished the Co-op campaign last night. Great fun and a great challenge.

I especially enjoyed the moment when I was holding up the landing zone for my partner as he flung himself across the map. I stepped off the button thus dropping the landing zone while he was midair so he then landed in the water.

He pointed out that I needed to stand on the button until he landed. I let him know that I was aware and had a nice little chuckle.

Game is so awesome.

Bam! Robots provided 6 extra seconds of cooperation. Good job robots.

I'd feel better about paying 60 bucks for this if there was more single player. The original was cool in that it was a well done game for relatively cheap.

I don't care about co-op or multiplayer and wish to hell game companies would stop making single player modes shorter to add that in.

I got about 10 hours of single player, and another 3 or 4 in co-op, one time through on both.

It's $50 on PC, and Valve just released the modkit for it, too.

Also, don't discount the co-op. It's really fun, and has its own story that's in-continuity.

I discount co-op and multi automatically. I don't play with anyone, and I absolutely refuse to go on Xbox live because of the douchebaggery. I have better things to do with my time.

$50 is too much for 10 hours.

And I'm just saying, just because you discount co-op automatically, doesn't mean you should. In this case, it's an interesting addition that really expands the boundaries of the puzzles they're able to offer.

In other words, it's worth trying even if you don't normally like co-op.

I'm totally with you on refusing to go on Live randomly, though. I only co-op with friends.

The $39.99 discounted price I payed for 12 months of Xbox live was a waste of money.

I thought I would enjoy some of the multiplayer aspects of the games I own, but I have realized that in the absence of numerous friends who have the same games I do and a lack of free time, that I am perfectly fine playing offline.

The majority of the Xbox live community is terrible and I want no part of anything public. My friends are limited as is my ability to play online anymore and I am fine with that.

I'll keep my limited online gaming to TF2.

Oh, and totally agree with Kaffis on the multiplayer part of Portal 2, Mus. Find a friend and carve out some time to do the co-op puzzles. Totally worth it.

Yea, I agree with these. If you liked Portal, Portal 2 single player will appeal to you.

I haven't played the mulitplayer much yet, but what little I've been able to play, it's been a blast.

I think the key is to find someone you know, who hasn't already played through the multi-player, and play through it together. Playing with a random XBL stranger wouldn't be the same....

This 100%.

Me and a friend did it in 2 or 3 sittings. Quite fun and there was useful cooperation and a few hilarious, intentional deaths.

Moose, I have not bought Portal 2 yet and am looking to buy it. My friends who PC game have already bought it have played through the co-op, so if you want someone to co-op together let me know.

Finished single player, really enjoyable quality game. I felt like I got more than my moneys worth out of the single player alone (much more than some other purchases). I've played a few of the co-op courses, lots of fun. As well, you don't even need to go online, the 360 will do split screen if you want to go that route.
