Anyone seen this series? Just caught episode 4 and although I knew where it was going it still scared the ever living bejabbers out of me. Hope the rest of the series is as good.

It's fantastic. It got cut short (canceled after 2 of planned 6 seasons), but still great.

I was a liiiiittle disappointed with the end of season 1, if only because.. well it's a long story, but I thought it was the second to last episode, and it was awesome so it got me all pumped up for what turned out to be nothing!

...but yeah, I was quite pleased with it. It was a bit of a novel way, to me at least, of handling such a protagonist. It kept me rather interested throughout.

Absolute brilliance. I'm a sucker for Depression-era stuff, and this also brought a dark mysticism that's been lacking in most realms outside of H.P. Lovecraft. Like FarSky said, it got canceled before its time, but that can be said for several HBO series (<i>Deadwood</i>, <i>Rome</i>).
