Uh, yeah. That's not correct.

% "Heavy Drinkers"

White Men: 17%
White Women: 5%
Black Men: 14%
Black Women: 4%.
Other Men: 16%
Other Women: 5%.

Bottom line? Women don't drink nearly as much as men, white men is the highest demographic, but barely. Race plays almost no role in determining "heavy drinkers".

Now, by $$:

Less than 20k
Men: 18%
Women: 5%

20-25k
Men: 16%
Women: 5%

25-35k
Men: 16%
Women: 4%

35k-50k
Men: 17%
Women: 5%

50k +
Men: 19%
Women: 7%

Bottom line: Income doesn't matter much either (though there is about a 2% increase for wealthy individuals).

Oh, I agree. Still, it's better data than he provided. Also, without statistics everything I read put men at about 3 times the alchoholic rate of women. So I'm not buying the idea that white middle class women are the biggest demographic.

Second DUI or first admission to rehab come after that point. Sometime before then. Anybody can get a DUI by being careless after partying. Refusing to learn from that indicates you really do have a problem
