.....That I had to bury one of cats. They all get put up at night but they are haying the field next door and sometimes Indiana won't come to bed because the moussing is so good. I tried till 1am and gave up. My neighbor found him on the highway this morning.

I admit, this is a very real fear for me, some nights. Amdee trained/influenced her cat well, though, it seems. He's very alert around the road, doesn't wander too far, and is pretty reliable in how long he'll stay out and about before plopping down on the porch to wait to come in again.

My heart goes out to you, and to little Indiana's memory.
