I did not at all see a penis.

I saw a heart with something going on, look more closely, it's a heart leaving a heart - uh, oh, it must be something sad.

I'd be very careful when adding details to de-wang the tattoo. wings may sound like a good way to break up the penis profile but white wings at the wrong angle could look like something's coming out the tip...

maybe add in extra rays of light that spread out from the hole rather than have all the rays following the small heart.. make it look like less of a shaft?

I'm fairly certain an approach that involves a steel brush, acetone, phenol, and bleach would also be an improvement.
