This is true. She could have taken those cookies and made some sort of awesome soup.

I know the answer!

"They don't make soup at a bakery! Why would I work there?"

Soup is better for you and you can make your own cookies.

There is no such thing as 3 day old snickerdoodles. They would all be eaten by the morning of day 2. Everyone knows that.

In a few years, when we are coming of the depression, you should put together a business plan and engage your current employer about opening a second location as a partner and financer in a high rent neighborhood offering both fresh soups daily and freshly baked bread.

I'm way ahead of you. I've been bringing baked goods into work. We currently get our bread, brownies, and quick breads from Aspen Baking Company and the breads are quite good (and local and fresh), but I can do WAY better on the brownies.

When you have 800 of them, sure. You can only eat them so fast; I don't think you could get more than 3 in your mouth at one time.

You need to get them addicted to the guittard brownie muffins you do.

That may be illegal Müs, pushing addictive substances. Especially is she uses the line "the first one is free".

Depending on size, I'd pay like 4 bucks for one. The amount of profit could be huge ;)

Hmm... given that I can make a dozen for about 10 bucks (which is pretty expensive for a muffin/cupcake/brownie thing) even at retail that would be a reasonable 25% food cost.

Add the tag "gourmet" on them, and you have a sales leader ;)

I can't imagine someone not liking one.

My grandmom made cookies out of potato chips. They were yummy.
