Fat people. Do you buy them an oversize casket, or get some heat lamps and let them dessicate for a while?

Oversized caskets or cremation, dessication method smells real bad.

My CEO sent an org chart for our company to a major headhunter in New York City yesterday. He removed my name from it to prevent me from being poached. That makes me feel good. :D

People at my company don't seem to be able to use the orgchart.

Some people are amazed I can find some random person's manager or direct reports...its the default page of the intranet people.

Learning the guitar makes my wrists hurt. That probably means I need more practice.

Be careful to rest if you are having wrist pain. You don't want to end up with a repetitive stress injury.

If you aren't taking lessons, you might want to dig around the web and make sure you are using the correct hand positions. This will help prevent injury. Also, do some grip strength exercises. You can buy a gripmaster (or similar) at most music stores, and most sporting goods stores sell them too. You can also use a raquetball or something similar.

Just start of slow, and do some easy stuff first. Rest your hands frequently. If you feel pain beyond a minor soreness, rest for a few days.

I've been playing most of my life, and I still find that my hands and forearms can benefit from a nice ice bath after extended play sessions.

For the first time that I can think of in my adult life, I actually am enjoying my job and the learning and experience that has gone along with it.

I am in so much better of a place that I was about a year and a half ago. It all started with quitting my job. Walking away from a healthy salary (for my education and for what I was doing, it was a steal) into joblessness was not an easy decision at the time, but it has turned out great so far.

Thanks mostly to a wonderfully supportive wife who, not only stood by my side, but carried me through the worst of it.

I don't have a single picture of myself (and don't know that any exist) of me before the age of 4.

That's because federal law now defines all those baby pictures as porn.

The downside is, they are pretty noisy...

If your feet and legs hurt while you play guitar, you're doing it wrong.
