Any suggestions for a good single player PC game? Something pretty casual. Was Portal 2 any good? Any fun casual single player FPS game or strategy games out there? Maybe Civ 5? Any suggestions welcome

Narrow it down, man! Portal 2 as excellent! Also, I'm really enjoying the new Deus Ex. P.S. new gears of war next week.

Minecraft is fun, if you're into that sort of thing.

Portal 2 was great fun. Not terribly replayable once done, though.

I believe Team Fortress 2 is free now. Easily the best value I have gotten for my gaming dollar. Been playing this for several years and it is still fun. Highly recommended, especially for the price.

I'll second Team Fortress 2, both Portals, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Civ V.

Starcraft 2 and something like League of Legends, depending on your definition of casual, too.

Maybe I'll try Portal 2 then. I have Starcraft 2 and played a lot of it as well as a ton of TF2.

I'll check and see if Deus Ex has a demo, not even sure what type of game that is.

Darksiders looked pretty good. Right now Cyberpowerpc is offering that and Deus Ex as free games with certain computer configurations; hopefully they still will be when it comes time to order.

Got to play me some portal 2 split screen Co-op this weekend. Definitely recommend the game.

There are lots of different versions. You can even play it old style with a deck of Bridge cards.

In less than two months Skyrim is going to hit. And I will disappear off of the face of the planet for a month.

Hehe, likewise.

Well, probably more like 5 days.

That movie is awesome. Can't get it on DVD or better though (supposedly the masters were burned in a fire). It is on youtube, albeit in low quality.

Battlefield 3, Skyrim, SWTOR (I know it's an MMO), Diablo III. That's what's on my radar right now. All to hold me over to Guild Wars 2.

Batman Arkham Asylum and Rocksmith are hitting on the same day in October as well.
