I've never watched a complete episode of that show (and have no intention of starting now).

This channel is just one more step towards the end of humanity....

If you peel back the layers, Midgen, you'll see this for what it is.

I've been a fan of the Simpsons since Tracey Ulman and 1989's first debut of their Christmas episode. Sometime around 1999 they started to go down a slope of putting me off of the show. Since I was such a massive fan, it was not something I noticed or accepted right away.

But by the time the episode aired where Homer gets his thumb cut off and spends the rest of the episode trying to find it, I realized I was done with the Simpsons. I haven't watched an episode since. Not even the long, long, long overdue movie.

It was recovering the past time I watched it. The people making it now are... Us. People who grew up with the show.

I spent much of my life around 1999 or 2000 watching Simpsons reruns of the previous decade. I haven't kept track since then.

They'd be better off running a them on their own online streaming service than convincing cable/satellite providers that carrying "The Simpsons channel" is worth their while

How long would it take to play every Simpsons episode, and the movie too?

I have seasons 1 through 12 on DVD. I believe Season 14 is my limit. I loved (notice past tense) the Simpsons for a long time, but it just has petered out.

Season 14 is probably the last one I have in my trivia data banks. It just got less interesting and from then on, it's almost like the show doesn't exist to me anymore.

I got the Simpsons movie and didn't watch it right away. The first time I watched it, I fell asleep. When I did eventually watch it, I was less than impressed.

They had their time and they should have called it quits when they were running high. They've just run the show into the ground now.
