Oh Nos we've gotta like follow the rules n stuff!

I think comparing tea party protests vs OWS protests are an excellent example of the differences in philosophy.

I thought all of NYC already smelled like urine and feces?

Yes, but now it smells like Patchouli, and that's 10 times worse.

The tragedy of our current situation, is that at their fundamental core, the rebellious left and the rebellious right agree, but will never reach any accord... and it's devised that way on purpose...

I think you're confusing malicious design with incompetence.

It's not confusion at all, it the recognition that both are at work. Those ultra-competent individuals, whose efforts have manifested in enormous global wealth and power make use of an archaic system grown too large, with eroded checks and balances on power. They have worked to manipulate this huge ineffectual, inefficient, incompetent Leviathan as their beast, as they have constructed crude reins, untouchable by the masses, accessible only by them, used only towards their ends. The incompetence is their guise, and they hide deep.

I might take the OWS protesters more seriously if there was any evidence of adults among them...

I think Boehner should take a page from Pelosis playbook and march the house Republicans past the occupy Washington protests.

Quote:
In Boston, a hub of colleges and universities, a higher education theme emerged among protesters. “What did I spend the last four years doing?” asked Becky De Freitas, a recent graduate of Gordon College in Wenham, Mass. “Fluent in Mandarin and French and no one wants to go for that? And it’s like, now what?”
