Ok. I get that people are dishonest. I get it. I get there's a huge cost when someone passes a bad check.

But I'm not. I'm just the dumbass that left his debit card at a restaurant in Barstow, and now my only means of getting to my bank account is a check. Rar! Don't look at me like I'm a criminal when I break out the check book you bastards.

Sigh.

Can't wait to get home.

I've taken to keeping about five checks in my wallet in case of emergency. I don't keep a checkbook anymore, and I virtually never keep cash on me. Everything today is debit, debit, debit.

Debit is bad it provides no protection against fraud. If your using your card for purchases use the credit option. if your card gets skimmed or cloned and they managed to record the pin number at the time you have zero protection.
