Has anyone noticed or does anyone care that there currently isn't any NBA B-ball being played due to the Player's Union and League Owners being able to make an agreement on something?

I don't care one bit if they play or not; Basketball just isn't my thing.

I only found it interesting that there seems to be no notice of the whole thing. Testament to how many here really care for Basketball, I would assume.

Since they stopped playing Basketball during the late 90s, I stopped caring.

Honestly, there isn't a single sport I would miss if they went on strike or were locked out, by nature of the reason I was unable to watch them.

If they are more concerned with "getting their money", than earning mine, I have no problems with keeping it.

As per usual, I don't quite get what you're saying here. Has something changed in the way they play the game since then?

Well, yes ...

European basketball and the WNBA are more enjoyable to watch for those of us who enjoy the game; the NBA itself is all about ballhogging and showboating.

Yup. Even not being a fan of the sport, I know exactly what you mean.

The NBA died for me 8/18/1992.

I love it not being on sports channels atm, tbh.

NCAA provides any needed b-ball for me.

Apparently Khross enjoys terrible defense. I'll take NCAA hoops any time.

More enjoyable than the NBA does not mean more enjoyable than the NCAA. Consider this ...

If European Basketball and the WNBA are better than the NBA, and allowing that the NCAA is generally better than both; it stands to reason that the NCAA would be my basketball of choice. I just chose the Crystal Light of Basketball (European) and the Diet Coke (WNBA) as the not quite right but almost acceptable alternatives to the sport that is not Basketball (NBA).

I love basketball. I don't much care for this version of basketball(not since Bird and Magic retired, they played the right way).

But this whole lock out thing is dumb. Screwum. The NBA needs a lot of fixin.

The NBA died as a sport when people stopped following teams and started following superstars. When it became the norm to be a Kobe fan in Miami, Cleveland, New York and Boston then I kind of figured their business model had failed.

I watched 20 minutes of the WNBA once. It was horrible. I mean truly terrible. I haven't seen so many bricks since...ever (such a good joke there, but can't come up with it).

Honestly I think a good high school team would be able to beat a WNBA team.

Not a big fan of the NBA, but I will watch it very occasionally. Certainly haven't missed it since the lockout. NCAAs are awesome.

Khross, have I ever told me you remind me or Nero Wolfe on a regular basis.
