From my experiences (mostly in the medical field) this is very common.

I've never had a "boss" from bottom to top, that wasn't a complete dumbass and POS.

The surest way to not have to deal with that is to be your own boss.

Not yet. Gonna move in with the parents for a year or two and I should have enough to buy a house with cash and retire and continue trading, and it will build exponentially. If all goes well...







20 minute phone call. I recorded it, and plan to post it on the internet after i edit out names.

This is f*cking bullsh*t people have been saying that they heard me make threats to shoot up the place / blow up the place / kill myself / etc....

It's clearly NOT true, I'm non violent, yes I like martial arts and I get pissed off at times but I've never shot a gun in my life and I would never do such a thing.


I dont know what the **** is going on. I can't believe this f*cking bullsh*t. People must really hate me.


It seems like the call went well though, I was prepared for it and awake, etc. Usually I'm tired at the hour they called but today I had shitloads of anxiety that kept me going strong.


Heart palpitations are f*cking awesome....

It's an ongoing investigation. That's all I know.

I wrote up notes to prepare for the call and I was gonna talk about issues on why I didnt like the company, but instead I felt like I was being interrogated.

So you got fired out of nowhere for allegedly making threats you didn't know about? How many people would have had to report this for you to actually be fired from it? A single person? How large is the company you worked for?

I miss working third shift sometimes.... no one was there, I could do what I wanted as long as I did the... hour or so of work I actually HAD to do...

Why wouldn't you do this on your own terms, after finding some other sort of employment? Finding a job without a job is always difficult, and much more so in this economy. Additionally, given that you quit, there is exactly a zero percent chance that you'll be able to collect unemployment.

as some of you may remember I used to work 11p-7a at a hotel (I used to come into irc after this shift a lot) I used to say it wasn't officially tomorrow until I've slept. this was the same job I used to pull 8 hr turnarounds with.

honestly it just feels like they wanted to find some reason to get rid of me, so they said i was fired pending an investigation cause they didnt know what the hell reason they wanted to get rid of me for.

for this specific person i had already gone out of my way that he can just say thursday as he means thursday and not have to try to guess if I mean friday morning is a part of thursday night (which I don't, because friday morning is friday morning). He was in the military and I try to be as straightforward as possible with time, I don't use the 24 hour clock, but I do speak very clearly and consistently when I talk about time. For instance...11pm thursday night. 3 hours later would be 2am friday morning.

Nev, I started a separate thread for the employee file that I was telling you about....he couldn't seem to put two and two together....he had done SO many things that he deserved to be fired over, but he slipped by. When they finally decided they had to fire him, they had to have documentation, so yes, they were looking for reasons to fire him....he hung himself (figuratively), but all he could see was the "bogus" things that he was getting suspended for and thought everyone was out to get him for no reason at all and started blaming everyone else.
