Very old and very slow Android. I have an "upgrade" available, but Verizon is being a giant crybaby and holding the Galaxy Nexus (who has exclusive U.S. rights to it at first launch) off market for a while so they can sell more Razrs and Rezounds, as well as keep other carriers from getting that phone before Christmas.

Sure there is. It just stayed in 2006, with all the Blackberries. ;)

Heh, OK. Given that I got my first one in 2005, I guess that's about right. I really dislike the latest one I got, frankly. But, I played with a friend's Android for a while, didn't do much for me. I have a feeling I'm just a Windows slave.

I find it highly amusing that Blackberry was left out of the poll. I think some people will cling to their Blackberries until their dying breath. Also I think Blackberries are approaching the 'hipster' level if they lose any more market share.

Blackberries are represented by the "other" option. :)

Hell, even being that inclusive, the demo seems negligible, statistically speaking. :)

I currently use a BlackBerry Torch, and will be switching to an Android as soon as my free upgrade becomes available in December.

That also falls into other, since the DoomOS doesn't seem to be available outside Latveria or their diplomatic staff.

Don't you have a DoomBot for that?

So, you're saying the BlackBerry is, like, a Grandpa phone? Crap, my kids aren't even old enough to have kids yet ...

Yup, there are 3 reasons to have a blackberry.

1) It's free from work.

2)......

One. There is one reason to have a blackberry.

What if you are a masochist?

Shouldn't a real masochist be running a monochrome Nokia from the early 90's?

BB is trying to get a port of the Android market is my understanding. When we coded our mobile app we first did iPhone, then Android and when we got to BB their entire platform appeared to be a smoke and mirors link to a BB-optimized website, not a true app.

I guess. When I got laid off and had to turn in my BB and (*gasp!*) get my own phone, I ended up with a BlackBerry. I guess mainly out of familiarity, and a sense of "works well enough for me." Guess I'm officially slipping over the age/not cool barrier.
