Can we sticky this thread so the next time he references vague inside sources/knowledge we can link back to it?

I'm not sure his admission is equivalent to getting busted though. Had he not admitted error, how would his assertions ever really be found out as having been mistaken?

Some with less integrity would never admit making a mistake.

Unless, of course, I'm wrong. :)

None of you have the balls to admit you made a mistake and were wrong ...

And when I do it in this thread, you guys all jump up in my **** as if its proof I'm laying or drunk or on drugs? Or that it should be held against me? And you're trying to take some sort of "high ground"?

You know what? You can go **** yourself, too.

**** yourself Khross, hit that little search button at the top of this page and search Hopwin and wrong, my bad, good point, etc. When I'm wrong I own it. You invented a situation at UCSD which was witnessed by four of your buddies in which students were pepper sprayed, going to nut up and admit to that son?

Only if a sticky is placed on each of your 'relationship' threads.

Really? You're a mind-reader? You're psychic? You're me? You've got some bone to pick, but I have no idea what it is. I confused information about two different things and spoke out of turn. And once I realized I had done so, I admitted, apologized, and moved on. You, however, seem to think this gives you an opportunity to call me a liar. You seem to think that this gives you the authority to tell other people that you somehow know what I am thinking or did?

You're not posting in good faith; you've got some axe to grind.

Good point, my relationship thread (titled. "WTF is wrong me") is meant to enhance my reputation as a relationship expert, not an admission that... Bum bum bum... Something is wrong with me that causes me to choose women who aren't right for me.

I'm wrong almost constantly. After a while you get used to it.

Don't hate; appreciate.

Of course not. That's a heavy accusation to make, and I am not in the habit of making such accusations. There's any number of explanations; I just tossed out a theory. I was just tossing out the idea that maybe your friends were drunk or high, not you. You'd know if you were or not. There's certainly other possibilities as well.

For example, maybe your friends were all visiting UC Davis that day and didn't tell you that fact?

All I was getting at is that if the eye-witness account was detailed enough to be able to discredit video evidence, they had to have been there (field trip), or at least think they were there (drunk/high).

Or, maybe there was a reenactment of the event at UCSD and they got confused.

Who knows?

I also am firmly against any such peaceful assembly or protest inconveniencing other people and thereby treading on their rights. Protestors who clog streets, (or striking workers who block company entranceways), anybody who uses their right to free speech and assembly as a shield to try to get away with interfering with other people, is no longer protected by that right and should be fair game for a little police brutality. People blocking the police in the process of performing their legitimate duties are no longer expressing their ideas or peacefully assembling, they are obstructing.

Exactly. I've watched live feeds of Occupy Boston, and they'd clog the streets and shut them down once they realized the police would not raid them that night. It's illegal and I'm glad they were all arrested or driven out.

Khross wrote:
Peaceably is not synonymous with peacefully. The Constitution guarantees the former, not the latter. Unfortunately for all of the police officers involved, the protest as shown in that video is peaceable. Of course, none of that matters because Congress and the Courts have vacated almost the entirety of the First Amendment already.

The first amendment isn't the right the block other's movements. I would be perfectly fine if they protested off to the side somewhere. Of course in this specific instance I think the police went way overboard with the usage of pepper spray.

Basically, the ability for vehicles and people to get from Point A to Point B is much more important than the petty concerns of these protesters. What if ambulances had to get through? What if a shipment has to be made before a plane takes off, and the truck can't get to its destination in time, so people don't get their medicine delivered? And so on.
