Harrison had time to not lower his head and launch himself into a QB that had already thrown the ball.

I disagree, less than one step is not enough time; with Harrison's history and the league's emphasis, he'll be punished, though.

Meh.

We're not going to agree on this.

As far as I am concerned, he had the time to not do what he shouldn't have been doing anyway. Something he has been fined for on multiple occasions. He saw McCoy throw the ball, and lowered his head and launched.

Heheh, yup.

He launched while McCoy was one step away still in possession of the ball.

Let's not forget the whole reason for the new concussion rules is because Harrison did the same thing to two Browns players in a single game last year, has expressed several times in press conferences and via Twitter that he has no remorse for his actions, sees nothing wrong with playing to hurt people, thinks the league is dead-wrong with its rules and will continue to play how he thinks the game should be played and punishment/consequences be damned.

With that said, I am sorely disappointed in the Browns for allowing him to manhandle them in this way. After last year one of our players should have taken his helmet off and beat Harrison until security came and escorted him out of the stadium. Massaquoi has not been the same since that hit and afterwards has received two more concussions
(you are 4x as likely to get a concussion after receiving one), nor has Josh Cribbs, who knows what long-term effects it will have on McCoy? The man is literally destroying lives and actively seeking to end careers and has been doing so since college.

Yeh, Ben wasn't all that gaudy in terms of Fantasy numbers this year. That, compounded with Green-Ellis and Mendenhall both being somewhat "meh" in terms of yards and TDs...

Its been a rough year :(

On behalf of our fine organization, I'd like to say this was all part of the plan. Now that no one's worrying about the undefeated season, we can start focusing on the playoffs.

The following is an actual conversation that took place at a Cleveland-area grocery store yesterday, between grocery store produce specialist (GSPS) and a proprietor of a phenomenal Cleveland sports website (PoPCSW):

PoPCSW (can’t find big package of spinach on store shelf, sees GSPS unloading boxes): “Excuse me, Sir, do you have any of the big packages of spinach in those boxes?”

GSPS (looks in boxes for big packages of spinach): “No not up here but let me go get them from the back.”

PoPCSW: “Thanks!”

GSPS (goes in back, comes back with box full of big packages of spinach): “You’re lucky you’re wearing a Browns hat. If you were wearing a Steelers hat I wouldn’t have gotten these for you.” (Guy is dead serious).

PoPCSW (scoffs): “Pfff. If I was a Steelers fan I wouldn’t be asking you for any spinach, because Steelers fans only eat corpses of their cousins who they kill after they get bored with sexually abusing them.”

GSPS (pauses, still dead serious does not even crack a smile): “You would be happy.”

PoPCSW (shrugs, goes to whiskey aisle)/END.

No joke. I wonder just how good this team will be next year with Shaub healthy. Also, I wonder where Lienart winds up now that Yates has emerged as a much more affordable option as a number two.

Definitely not in the way it happened. I walked out of the room for a soda as they were wrapping up the post-kickoff commercial break. Came back and the game was over. WTF??

Nope. But then I went 1 for 3 on my postseason picks so far. So I'm not surprised.

I didn't expect it, no; HOWEVER I did believe that if the Broncos were going to get to the second round, that the Steelers would be their easiest path.

Really? I would of figured the Bengals might of been the best chance for them to advance.

If some how the Bronco's beat the Patriots, well, I won't know WTF to think. I may have to reevaluate everything I think I know about football.

Featuring an injured and less mobile Roethlisberger and missing both their leading tackler and number one halfback I felt Pittsburgh was least likely to bd involved in a shootout.

I expect the 49ers win over the Saints to be a great game.
