I've been hired by a company to do PC/TV/etc warranty work here in the area, as soon as I get the mountains of paperwork and training done.

So yeah. This could be cool. It's all call based so I'm not sure how much better this is gonna be than retail in Feburary money wise. It's gotta be though right ? It can't be much worse. Just so much that has to be done before I can start

Will you do house calls? I remember, back in the before-time, when TV technicians would come to your house and replace tubes and stuff. It's very funny to me to think of that happening nowadays.

Congrats on the job, though, beats sitting around with no coin. Hopefully.

All I'll do is house calls (and business calls). Yeah, we went through that era where TVs were disposable, but with high end LCDs and extended warranties, apparently it's profitable to be in the TV repair business again.

Also I've been promised I wont have to try and stuff an 80in panel in the back of my Sunfire

Huh, interesting, hadn't quite thought about the cost of TVs now (but I never get extended warranties). Sounds like a good gig, however.
