The Glade 4.0

Tornado damage seems to have killed at least 12 people. Property damage seems to be in the billions.

Any of us personally affected, other than the OMG emotional stuff a lot of us are feeling?

I have nightmares about tornadoes every two years like clockwork.

Fine here in central Ohio. I knew there was bad weather coming but it wasn't that bad here, we didn't even lose power and our power goes out if a squirrel farts on a power line.

Few near me but no damage to us

Tornado siren went off in town around 5pm. Brought the cats down to the basement for half an hour or so while talking to a family member about some network issues they were having -- so it was wasted time, anyways. The family member saw some suspicious rotation to the north of us; not sure if it ever formed anything significant, and I didn't see it because that's the direction my patio blocks the view of from the basement windows.

Then, around 7, our power went out.

I was going out to dinner with some folks anyways since the line of seriously bad stuff had passed by then. Power was back on when I got home late.

Power was out this morning here, and very high winds. No twisters though. Part of the same storm system? I don't know.

Some bad thunder storms and heavy rain is all we got (Stone Mountain, GA, just east of Atlanta).
