Funny, I'm working my way through Dracula now. About half-way through. Not that I would ever think to compare it to Twilight, but I have to admit, it's not the easiest read. Kind of right up there with Moby Dick. Can't imagine reading it 22 times, like Elvis.

I loved Dracula...it was a hell of a lot better than the movie they made of it in the 90's.

It's good, but it's certainly not for everyone.

Oh, come now. Gary Oldman was brilliant in Bram Stoker's Dracula! At least it wasn't Dracula 2000 :P

I should try reading it again. I did once, but I think I was too young at the time and I got bored with it in chapter 6 or so. I think I was 11 or 12 at the time.

Yeah, I remember the first time I read Lord of the Rings. Chapter 2 (shadows of the past) nearly knocked me out. When I reread it as an adult, I ate it up.

Hehehe.. either that, or they're married already to the shy girl with the floral dresses and thick glasses that you made fun of in high school.

Please, don't remind me. My mate and I went to a midnight showing on the day it came out. It was painful.

The Easy Way

Religion is a very private thing in the Nordic countries and not something you're supposed to tell others about, both because most people aren't religious so it would be considered rude, and also because they're such personal feelings for religious people.

So a sure way to ruin the mood is to wear a T-shirt with a religious message, or any other object that somehow show what religion you belong to, most of all because Nordics will probably be too polite to talk about it (like I said, you're not supposed to talk about religion), so it will be a huge elephant in the room and they will just sit and stare awkwardly at you, afraid they might say something that'll hurt your religious feelings. :XD:

In France, it's considered horribly gauche to ask someone (or tell them) what you do for a living. And there's no way you discuss salaries (of course, that's touchy for us, too).

You mean, like, a main-gauche? That's pretty manly.
