Even if it were real, the drivers would probably come with a virus pre-installed...

Is this a problem with Razer drivers that I'm not familiar with?

I purchased a Razer mouse a while back (2009?). When I downloaded the drivers from their official site, it installed a virus on my PC.

To this day it's the only time I've every had malware on one of my computers, and I'll likely never forgive them for it.

They published an apology, saying their site had been compromised and the downloads modified to include some form of malware.
