Micheal, I called my stepmom today and took flowers to my mother-in-law's grave. My son called me, as well. My mom's grave is about three hours drive so figured I would take a day trip this next week to take her flowers...she would understand.

Being as it's hubby's birthday today as well, I made eggs benedict this morning and cooked ribs low and slow on the grill for supper, served with potato salad made fresh first thing this morning.

All and all a very good day!

Sounds like it Jasmy. I contacted my daughter's foster mother and a couple of ladies I've called Mom over the years. After that I got a couple chores done and played some WoW. Not as tasty a day as yours, but it was pleasant.

Hah, my mom is living with me now, so it was pretty easy to say "Happy Mother's Day" when I woke up. Flowers, gift, and a card were waiting on the kitchen table for my wife when she woke up, and gifts from the kids were in hand. Mother-in-law came over for lunch, which went well. Lunch was ribs, bleu cheese cole slaw, mac and cheese, micro-green salad, and home made lemonade, with grilled fruit for dessert. I made it through pretty well, I think.
