Exactly. If Perkins brings in his own coach and they fall to the bottom tier of the Big 12, Perkins will join his coach on the unemployment line. And I'll stop by just to laugh at them. (figuratively speaking, of course).
Perkins threw Mangino under the bus. There are plenty of KU fans who'd volunteer to throw Perkins under a bus, imo.
