Unfortunatly I don't think so, I owe him an apology, but your first few games for a new edition will be full of mulligans. I emailed him for a re-match, that and I just bought the aegis defense lines, so now I have some dedicated AA. I have also come to like the relativly balanced rules for buildings/ramparts. I can see in the meta, you know have to prepare for Flyers and cracking av14 fortifications.

I think I used my fifth edition books like twice.

I did not care for 5th edition, or "parking wars" as it was refered too locally. Maybe it was too many space wolf/GK players in the local scene, the over reliance of vehicles. It also happend to be the start of 8th edition Fantasy which I enjoy(ed) immensly. Still I did not hate 5th edition 40K, as much as I disliked the power creep at the end of 7th edtion fantasy.
