Purina, for most of our animals, and a Eukanuba breed-specific blend for our Corgi to help with her back.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with Purina's basic food, it's well researched and consistent quality.

Unfortunately, my dog has protein allergies that require her to only eat certain (fracking expensive) dog food. Which basically means I buy her Dick van Patten's Natural Balance.

Ours get a homemade blend of chicken, rice and veggies (usually zucchini and/or carrots). After cooking everything the chicken and veggies get sent thru a food processor then mixed in with the rice and stored in the fridge. At dinner time we warm-up some for each and put a handful of Blue Buffalo brand dry food on top. Blue Buffalo is made-in-USA, 'human grade' dog food.

Iams large breed senor weight control...it's good enough and my very picky dog likes it.

Pedigree Adult Formula.

For our dachshund/border collie cross a few years ago, the vet recommended Eukanuba for her kidneys (she was getting older). She wouldn't eat it dry so we mixed IAMS canned with it...turned out it was the poisoned crap from China which ended up killing her!Never again IAMS!

We have always used Pedigree with our other dogs, from puppy to adult...sometimes mixed with home cooked foods that are appropriate for dogs to ingest.

Awesome dog food!

Blue Buffalo Wilderness.

Had one dog, that had a couple of bouts with bladder stones (required 2 surgeries), and they told me to give him nothing but Science Diet CD post first surgery. 3 years later, he got the second stones.......so I quit feeding him the @$@# food they were selling me.

I'd suggest folks look at this site: http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/

They do pretty comprehensive reviews, and let you know about some dangerous ingredients in many dog foods. Many of us are probably thinking we're giving our dogs "the good stuff" (and paying extra for it), I know I did when I fed my dog Iams. If you look at the site, you may be surprised (well, not you Blue Buffalo folks).
In the end, the really good products are expensive (relative to other foods), so I chose Evo because of its high rating and its high caloric content which means I use less eat each feeding.

After reading this I think I'm going to start a rotation of different brands...

Yeah, I wouldn't feed a dog any of the options in this poll. I like this site for ratings as they group them.

We personally used Blue Buffalo with our dog as it was in the upper end of the good food but wasn't super expensive.

For quality per cost, you absolutely cannot beat Kirkland brand dog food from Costco. It is second only to Blue Buffalo in terms of quality, but in terms of price, it beats even that brand hands-down. ~26 bucks for a 40lb bag.

We did a lot of research as well, and this is the result of that.

I would heartily disagree that Kirkland is second only to Blue Buffalo in terms of quality. Take a look at all the brands that are rated higher than Kirkland. The site I posted rates it lower than many brands; the site Jhorra posted won't even recommend it.
The caloric content of the 40lb bag of Kirkland is less than 90% of the caloric content of a 28lb bag of Evo.
Kirkland's better than many, many products out there but it's grain based and can't be considered "second to" Blue Buffalo, or any of the other excellent non-grain based dog foods; it's not even in the same class.
Above all, it's manufactured by Diamond Pet Foods, and they have had too many recalls for my liking.
